Hi...I'm Edward M. Potter, Sr. welcome to my personal internet site.
1st and foremost I'm a dedicated father and husband to 4 incredible children and the world's
most awesome wife. I'm also a community particpant and leader who believes "it's up to us."
Professionally, I'm currently the Chief Marketing Officer for YippeeO LLC, a global Internet
Marketing Services firm, breaking new ground in the "Hyper local Internet" market,
the YippeeO family includes:
YippeeO Marketing, YippeeO Parents Connection, YippeeO.com and DealBundle.com.
Prior to YippeeO, I held leadership positions at IBM Systems Technology Group,
IBM Global Services and IBM Software Group. I am also the principal of my own sales and marketing
consulting firm, SAM Technologies, through which I have engaged with a number of IT up-start
companies over the years.
I have more than 24 years of trust based relationship development, leadership development,
new market and business development experience worldwide.
In the community, I reside in Fairfax, VA, am married with 4 children, and am a
dedicated volunteer and fund-raiser. As a volunteer, I've served as President-Elect and
Fundraising Co-Chair for the VA Chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management
Systems Society), Northern VA Technology Council (NVTC) (Sales, Marketing and Business
Development Committee member), Board Membership Chair for the Alumni Volunteer
Corporation for the GMU chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Member All Hazards Consortium,
9 year Board of Director member and Coach for Fairfax Little League Baseball, Parent
Advisory Council representative to the Superintendent Fairfax County Public Schools, and
the Cluster 3 Representative Fairfax County Public Schools for Wakefield Forest ES PTA.
My family is actively contributes to the Lukemia Lymphoma Society and both the Avon and
Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer organizations. If you'd like to participate as well, any donation
